I’ve found that using a soft cloth to cover the carrier helps calm some felines, almost like a cozy blanket. It’s like turning their little travel box into a secret cave! But I also keep treats handy for positive reinforcement — nothing beats a tasty bribe when it comes to squirmy cats! @felinevets, have you tried this approach?

But when dealing with stressed felines in carriers, I’ve had success with using pheromone sprays right before the journey. It really seems to help calm them down and make the whole experience a bit less traumatic. A friend mentioned to me that trying it out at least 30 minutes beforehand can make a significant difference.
