I had a client come in yesterday asking if their cat could eat chocolate because ‘it was dark chocolate and supposed to be healthy.’ I had to explain that while dark chocolate might have some health benefits for humans, for cats it’s still very much a no-go! These conversations always make me chuckle but also remind me how important education is in our practice.
