Using calming aids in practice

And i’ve recently started incorporating calming pheromone sprays into my practice, especially for dogs that show anxiety during visits. It’s amazing to see the difference it makes in their behavior, and I’ve found it really helps in easing their stress levels. I’m curious if others have had success with similar tools and what types you recommend.

I started using calming collars for some of my more anxious patients, and they’ve really made a difference. It’s like giving them a cozy blanket of comfort they can wear — who wouldn’t feel better in that? I’d love to hear any other success stories too.

I’ve found using a few drops of lavender oil in diffusers during exams really chill some of my more anxious patients. Just be careful with the concentration; too much can be overwhelming, and not all pets react the same way. It’s crazy how a small change can make such a big difference, right?

I’ve started using calming sprays during exams too, and the difference is real! Have you tried using them pre-visit? It can help a lot. :paw_prints:.
