Quick question for those managing 1–4 kg cats and rabbits under inhalant: are you finding sidestream capnography with 50–[redacted]/min sampling gentle enough, or do you prefer mainstream on a non-rebreathing circuit to protect tidal volume? I’m prioritizing smooth recoveries and perfusion-friendly techniques (pre-oxygenate 3 minutes, active warming, minimal dead space), and I’d love real-world feedback on which sensors and tubing setups have been least disruptive during dentals.
